People now days forget about recycling..
They always ignore dustbins around them. They just throw rubbish everywhere without considering the effect.
Many negative effect such as pollution, clogged drain, presence of dangerous animal and anything else.
Here are some effects if we are not aware of the rubbish around us:-

filled rubbish may cause clog drain

ignorance with the dustbin

garbage is not dumped in the trash

If we can't even rely on people to throw rubbish in the dust bin... how about the recycling bin??

We have to raise the awareness of recycling now!!

Recycling in the industrialized countries

Advanced industrial countries such as Germany,Denmark and Taiwan have faced the problem of waste disposal. Hence, to overcome this problems, the country has introduced several measures waste recycling.

RECYCLING IN GERMANY
Germany is among the most advanced industrial countries in Europe. Production, distribution and consumption of goods has created problemsof environmental pollution.
In Germany the recycling of solid waste have been implemented long ago. Germany had to enforce the law, called the ordinance packaging. Under this regulation, all manufacturers and the distributor of the goods delivered to customers such as shopping complexes. The legislation was to encourage manufacturers and distributors, recycling and reusing items considered abandoned.
Apart from its own collection of packaging their products, manufacturers and distributors can also hire a collection agency in a program called 'Duales System Deutchland GmBH'. Through this program, manufacturers mark all their goods box with a green or 'Green Dots'. To accompany this program manufacturers pay dues to the tax agency. The tax agency will cite the box is to be discharged to manufacturers.
In Germany, there are three ways to collect waste for recycling. First, by providing a site collection and recycling bins on main roads in the area of factories, businesses and housing. Second, people can fill materials to be recycled in a plastic bag semulake mempunyailogo 'Green Dot', which was free. This bag is attached at the gate to facilitate the collection agencies collect.Third, people can also take materials for recycling continues to collection.

RECYCLING IN DENMARK
Denmark currently produces 13 million tons of solid waste each year. On average, every person in this country produces 7 pounds of solid waste per day. In this country the recycling activities are controlled and monitored by a designated agency 'Denmark Environmental Protection Agency' or Denmark EPA.
In 1997, the Danish government to ban the dumping of waste in open landfills for waste may be disposed of using incineration. This regulation has encouraged all parties to increase the recycling activities.
In 1998 Denmark initiated a 'WASTE 21. In 1999, the government has been enforcing the law 'Affaldsbekendtgoerelsen 1999. Other measures include programs waste tax, green tax program, the deposit return program and waste subsidy program.

- The following is a recycling program in Denmark
a) Affaldsbekendtgoerelsen 1999
OBJECTIVE~enforce the law that defines waste, explain the types, and describes how the local authority efficiently manage solid waste in their area.
b) waste 21
OBJECTIVE~  describe how to recycle an efficient and effective.
c) waste tax programme.
OBJECTIVE~ impose a tax to the party who wants to dispose of any waste type.
d) green tax programme
OBJECTIVE~  impose a tax on the party seeking to dispose of solid waste that is not easily broken, such as plastic packaging, plastic bags, politerina, stirofom and battery.
e)deposit return programme
OBJECTIVE~  require manufacturers to pay a deposit to the government when producing a product that can be recycled such as bottles. This deposit will be returned to the manufacturer if they recycle products after use.
f) waste subsidy programme
OBJECTIVE~ financial assistance by the government to depress the development of recycling technologies.

RECYCLING IN TAIWAN
Taiwan is a country of small indusrtri and highly populated. Industrial and economic activity that many people produce a lot of waste in the form of solid and liquid wastes that can affect the environment.Disposal of solid waste directly to landfill no longer suitable openly carried out in the country as the land fills are decreasing. This method is not clean. Therefore, Taiwan is encouraging recycling activities.
In Taiwan, the campaign to promote recycling activities organized by the Environmental Protection Agency  Taiwan or Taiwan EPA.Recycling measures in the country include the preparation and dissemination of the Guidelines on Recycling, Waste Disposal Act and the enforcement of the 4 in 1 programme.
Review Guidelines describe the method of cycle storage, recycling guidelines, collecting and processing solid waste. Waste Disposal Act requires manufacturers and importers are responsible for disposal of their products. In the 4 in 1 Programme, the government encourages the cooperation of four parties, the community, city authorities, the voluntary recycling in recycling activities
Recycling activities in Taiwan have resulted in two major benefits. First, economic benefits, namely the production of the raw materials from waste, business opportunities and the work of collecting and recycling. Second, social benefits of a cleaner environment

Robot moneybox

Robot Moneybox...
Certain people like to hoard their money in a moneybox. So, they need to buy a moneybox. Why buy a moneybox when you can create one! Using wasted materials! Here, I want to show you how to make arobot moneybox by using wasted material.Firstly, I used:-
from the picture above, i used tins, scissor, sellotape, boxes, newspaper, super glue(UHU), big sellotape, wire and beads and also 2 bottle cap.
okay! Lets go on with the first step...
i need 4 tin cans to produce sound when we enter the coins inside it.I combined 4 tin cans altogether with sellotape.
After that, i wraped the tin cans with newspaper to make it easy stick with moneybox body. Then, i stick the cans with rectangle box to make it as base.
for the body of moneybox..i used a square box.The square box is stick around the 4 tin cans. So, the tin cans are cover with the square box. Then, i cover the upper part with box.Remember! Paste it properly..if not, the body will off.
when i get the shape of robot, i colours it with poster colour. Its up to own creativity. After done colouring, i dried it within 10 to 15 minutes only. When it dried, i took 2 bottle cap to make robot eyes.
Then, i took 2 beads and one wire on each eye of the robot.I roll the wire to make it like spring.I also used the big sellotape at border on the top part.
Make sure! the robot looks like this.
For the robot's ear, i used one cuboid box (you can use juice boxes) and cut it into two. Of coures if you use juice boxes, you would need two of it instead of cutting it into two. Then, wrap each with newspaper.
And stick it at the side of the robot.
I used the scissor to perforation a hole for coins size .I just estimated the size. Then, i tried to put in a big size coin.If big coins can enters,of course another (smaller) coins can too.
We're almost done! I added decoration for the robot's mouth. I reused paper cut it to make it look like a robot's mouth. And then, paste it!
Tadaaaaaaa!!! the robot moneybox is done!!
Just simple...if we reuse wasted material, so get to save our money and the most important thing!we are able to save the earth.Thats all.. You can try this at home!

Tin Can Robot

TIN CAN ROBOT
  • INTRODUCTION

First of all, we need to prepare all the contents such as 4 body rings, 1 short leg, 1 long leg, 2 gripper hands, 2 straw attachments, 2 terminal caps, 4 bolts and nuts, the screws, 1 toy motor with gear, 2 moving eyes, 1 axle with gear and 2 plastic feet, 1 motor/axle cover, 2 bendy straws, 1 battery casing with cover and wires and 1 body plate.
  • PROCEDURE
This is the body plate.

As the beginning, insert 2 body rings to the body plate.

Secondly, fit the battery case with the switch near the gear housing. Then, gently thread the wires through the two smaller square holes in the body plate. The black wire goes through the right-hand hole, and the red wire through the left-hand hole.

After that, lower the battery case onto the body plate so that the pegs in the battery case slot into the holes in the body plate. Be careful not to trap the wires between the case and body plate. Fix the battery case in place with two screws but do not put a battery in the case yet.

Next, gently thread the wires from the motor through the square holes in the body casing. Thread the red wire through the right-hand hole and the black wire `through the left-hand hole.Slot the motor into the motor housing.
The Axle with The Plastic Feet + Some Cooking Oil
Lubricate the gears with cooking oil or you may substitute it with the grease. Later, put the axle into the axle housing so that it lies in the cut-outs in the top of housing. The gear wheel on the axle should interlock with the worm gear on the motor shaft.
DIAGRAM 1

DIAGRAM 2
DIAGRAM 3
Afterwards, drop the motor/axle cover over the motor and axle and push it down onto the four pegs on the body plate. Fix the cover in place with four screws. And you will get the result as shown in diagram 3.
The next step, you need to connect the wires from the battery to the wires from the motor. Push the red wire from the motor and the black wire from the battery case into one of the metal eyelets. Press a terminal cap into the eyelet to keep the wires in place. Put the black wire from the motor and red wire from the battery case into the other eyelet. Add the other terminal cap.
To complete the body rings, take a body ring and position it over the body ring that is attached at the motor case end of the body plate. Align the holes in the two rings and insert two bolts into the holes. Put nuts on the bolts and tighten them. For your information, this is the body ring at the down part of the body plate.
Then, repeat the latest step for the other body ring that should be at the upper part of the body plate, but this time put a straw attachment on the bolt before inserting it into the rings.
Soon, it will look like this.
The diagram shown is the long leg that is located at the top of the body plate. Push the long leg onto the peg under the battery case, and secure with a screw.
Push the short leg onto the peg on the outside of the body ring nearest the axle. Secure with a screw.

Later, push a bendy straw onto each straw attachment on the body ring. Next, push a gripper hand onto the other end of each straw.
The Moving Eye and The Wire

Place a ring on one end of a wire into a peg on one eye base plate. Then, attach the wire to the eye plate with a screw. Repeat for the other eye.
Using screws, attach the other ends of the wires to the pegs on the end of the body plate near the battery case. And, it'll look as the picture shown.
Almost to the end, insert a 'AA' 1.5 volt battery into the battery case. If the motor runs, flick the switch to turn it off. Attach the battery case cover with a screw.
Lastly, slide an empty, clean tin can into the body rings. You may need to loosen the nuts on the rings to get the can in. Tighten them again afterwards.

Let us watch the final result, THE MOVING TIN CAN ROBOT !!!

Stationary Holder

Although recycling is very important, but it is even better if we reuse the things. Reuse is an easy activity, you can do it by yourself. You can use plastic bottles, old newspapers or even used beverage cans and so much more! There are many ways to create something new by using all these reuse item. You just need effort and creativity.

Right now, I'm going to show how to reuse thing with simple ways.

I'm going to make a stationery holder using the item that i found at my home.

A few used plastic paperclip
2 used paper cup
A scissors, glue stick and small sellotape
A big  Sellotape

A set of poster colour

Let's begin our mission to make a stationery holder by using all this item!

Firstly,we stick the two cups by using the small sellotape. Then,we use the big sellotape to make the cups more stable.

STEP 1

                   STEP 2
This is what we got when the process of step 1 and step 2 is done

Next,we need to punch one of the cups bottom to make a hole.Be careful when using sharp things such as knives or scissors.

STEP 3
The picture when step 3 done

We're halfway done!Don't give up,let's start colouring the cups with poster colour.

STEP 4 - Starts colouring

The colour may take some time to dry up.Don't worry, usually it took about 10-15 minutes only!

Okay,guess the next step?It's a decorating time!

STEP 5 - Show your creativity by decorating the cups

Lastly, put the plastic paper clip at the top of the stationery holder. You can add your note, information or anything by using the paper clip like this.

Hooray! Finally we have finished making our own stationery holder by using reuse item. This project didn't take a long time. It just took around 30 minutes or 1 hours.Anyway, here is my own stationery case.

So,hurry up!Try to make your own stationery holder.Show your own creativity and you can save our planet by reusing things. Who knows that your work might be better than mine,so let's start to reuse thing and don't forget to recycle!

Thank You :)
