The effects of not recycling

Effects on our land!

Because we humans don't recycle, landfills are running out of room for waste, and some states are running out of space for landfills. If we do not recycle more or even reduce and reuse, we will soon be surrounded by our own waste. Not just that, But in a few generations, our children and grandchildren may literally be surrounded by garbage.

Taking the Oceans Over

The image above shows the Great Pacific Garbage Patch.
The Great Pacific Garbage Patch, also called as the Pacific Trash Vortex, is a gyre of marine litter in the central North Pacific Ocean located roughly between 135°W to 155°W and 35°N to 42°N.[1The patch extends over an indeterminate area, with estimates ranging very widely depending on the degree of plastic concentration used to define the affected area.
The Patch is characterized by exceptionally high concentrations of pelagic plastics, chemical sludge, and other debris that have been trapped by the currents of the North Pacific Gyre. Despite its size and density, the patch is not visible from satellite photography, since it consists primarily of suspended particulates in the upper water column. Since plastics break down to ever smaller polymers, concentrations of submerged particles are not visible from space, nor do they appear as a continuous debris field. Instead, the patch is defined as an area in which the mass of plastic debris in the upper water column is significantly higher than average.

The garbage is located within the north pacific gyre.

There are already piles of garbage being carried by the waves in the sea. This is because people litter. The tidal currents have collected the garbage from around the world and it will continue to grow. Most of this trash is plastic which does not break down.

Our Trees!

Imagine in the future.. Where we live with no trees? And our children, grandchildrens and so on can only see trees through pictures and images. We are already chopping down trees for buildings.. And then for paper! Because we don't recycle.. more trees will be chopped down. Some of us might not even care about this matter. So let's all help to prevent this!! Let's Recycle!
